Australian based Enterprise Content Management consultancy Chrome Consulting, an SAP partner, continues to grow from strength to strength. After starting with one employee it has grown to 15, delivering successful projects around OpenText and SAP solutions at organisations such as Orica, Jemena, Hydro Tasmania. To compliment the leadership team they have recruited a 21 year veteran of SAP, Mark Frear who had been leading their Presales Enterprise Architect Hub across APJ for several years, will join the management team in late July.
In his former business development and sales roles Mark worked closely with OpenText and other partners to build up the business of reselling of OpenText through the SAP ANZ sales channel, and so has good knowledge of the market, product portfolio and potential.
Mark explains, “Enterprise architecture gave me a framework to engage with the business needs and priorities impartially and with empathy. It was an extremely rewarding time where I had the privilege of working at customer sites for extended periods of time to nut out the more prickly problems across the entire business domain and SAP solution portfolio. From that vantage point I could still see some customers struggling with the document/content management of their business. For me unstructured information is the context, trigger and sometimes output of business process that you need to manage responsibly. That, in combination with the potential of machine learning and AI, is the reason I felt it was time to change. Chrome Consulting has a very good track record of SAP and OpenText implementation success, and is nimble; it’s time to bring that success to more customers.”
