SAP digital content processing provides leading-edge AI technology to process information from any incoming paper or electronic document inside SAP processes. A set of rules and business checks are configured to fully automate document processing and posting into SAP ERP or S/4 HANA.
Like Vendor Invoice Management by OpenText, the solution delivers a series of pre-delivered best practice solutions for other documents inbound to SAP ERP or S/4HANA. This includes processing and posting the documents into the modules with the appropriate validation check for that process area. Documents like, customer purchase orders for sales, remittance advices, quotations, order confirmations and delivery notes are pre-delivered as part of the solution baseline. Extended customer-specific scenarios can be configured.
The solution captures the right information through OCR and AI, routing to the right people at the right time. This results in better timely decision making, with better process visibility, which support industry compliance, cost and risk reduction.

Solution resides and embedded in SAP
There is no need for complex interfaces or duplication of data to help validate different documents. A seamless and standard integration with ECC and S4/HANA ensures the “best in the market” capability to process SAP incoming documents.
Simplified license model
An existing Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) license covers the use of the solution for other document types. Customers can adopt additional document processing solutions (e.g. processing of incoming Sales Orders) by simply buying new or additional VIM licenses.
